Crom’s Crommentary: Putin’s Goals and the Role of Green Energy in Europe

Vladimir Putin

Live from Music Row Friday morning on The Tennessee Star Report with Michael Patrick Leahy – broadcast on Nashville’s Talk Radio 98.3 and 1510 WLAC weekdays from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. – host Leahy welcomed the original all-star panelist Crom Carmichael to the studio for another edition of Crom’s Commentary.

CROM CARMICHAEL:

I have been watching the goings-on in Ukraine. I’ve been thinking about what the goings-on in Ukraine have been for the last couple of months based on the facts that I know about. I want to give you what my conclusions are.

These conclusions are not airtight, but they’re based on the facts as we know them. So let’s consider what the facts are. We know for a fact that Putin has been saying for quite some time that Ukraine is part of Russia. We know that for a fact.

We know that Biden, for approximately the last month, has been telling Americans to get out of Ukraine. And he’s been moving the American staff in Kiev out of Ukraine.

So that tells me that Putin gave him a heads-up and told him when he was going to invade because Putin didn’t want to embarrass Biden any more than he’s going to and he didn’t want Biden to suffer another Afghanistan.

My sense of it is that this whole thing is being orchestrated to make Putin happy. Now, I think back to Hitler, and Hitler wrote Mein Kampf. And anybody who has read it, he did exactly what he said he was going to do in Mein Kampf, in virtually every way.

Putin gave his 5,000-word speech, his essay, and a lot of people joked about it. And by the way, these were Hitler supporters, because before Hitler started the war, there were a lot of people in the United States who admired Hitler, because they admired fascism as a way to govern, because the elites always like to be able to control other people and they want to be able to do it with the use of force if necessary.

Putin is a fascist. Hitler was a fascist. Biden would love to be a fascist. Justin Trudeau, we now know is a fascist. And so now let’s look at what the situation is and what can be done. And by the way, I don’t think Putin is going to stop with the Ukraine.

I don’t know exactly what he’ll do next, but I don’t think he’s going to stop with Ukraine. But I also know that if Europe stays dependent on Russian gas and natural gas and oil, Putin will have them handcuffed as opposed to being a member of NATO, and they’ll be a member of the Russian oligarchy set and they’ll do what Putin tells them to do.

What Europe will need to do is they’ll need to decide that they don’t need to be as green as they want to be. They’ll need to acknowledge – and by the way, this ought to be done – they’ll need to acknowledge the benefit of nuclear energy.

And they’ll also need to start taking gas and oil from other countries. Biden will have to start opening up the production of fossil fuels here in the U.S. So will Biden do that? I don’t have a clue.

I doubt it, because I think he’s owned by the Greenies, and owned by the billionaires who have invested in the green companies. So this is going to be a cluster. And we’ll see what happens in the midterm elections. It should go a long way toward addressing the issues.
